Saving the Sunglasses
A terrible thing happened when I was mucking about on a beach in Japan. The wind was oh-so-blustery. I was standing near the edge of a peer when my favorite blue sunglasses blew off from around my neck and landed about 10 feet below in the salty water. I have a special connection with those slick shades, so I was fairly upset about them falling into the ocean. Luckily, they landed close enough to the crusty concrete blocks that I could climb down near the water and see them at the bottom. More after the jump:

K-ON! in Lawson
I should have posted this earlier. Many of the Lawsons (a chain of convenience stores in Japan) have been fully K-ON!ed. They have pictures up on the windows and a large assortment of K-ON goodies to purchase. Everything from fans to candy. There's also Houkago Tea Time music playing in the store! They were playing "Don't Say Lazy" when I was in there. Hit the jump for some pics:

China Bag + K-ON! = Win
I bought this bag at a store in China and then decked it out with some K-ON! pins that I bought at ChinaJoy 2011 (cosplay festival). It says "I <3 China", but I don't <3 the Chinese Internet. Hit the jump for some pictures of me wearing the damn thing. And, I'll be posting ChinaJoy pictures later on.

A China Coffee Shop
I found this little coffee shop near my Hotel. It's near the Chigang Metro Station in Guangzhou. The coffee is really good. Freshly ground, bold and rich. They also have bread and pastries. I had some nice flaky ones with my coffee. Hit the jump for pictures:
Picasa Drag and Drop
They finally added Drag and Drop to Picasa! I've been wanting this for so long. It's such a pain in the ass to upload photos without this. I hope they keep making Picasa more Google-like.
3D Restaurant in China
I met my friends and went to a "3D Restaurant" in China called "Luckily Sweet". I had no idea what a "3D Restaurant" would be before going. The food was just okay and you don't have to wear 3D glasses or anything. There are just "3D" paintings on the wall that give the illusion that they are 3D when you look at them from the right angles. The pictures are cool, but I wouldn't call it a 3D Restaurant. This was my first time planking in China. This is in Guangzhou City at 上下九 (I call it Up Down Nine Road). I was only down for a few seconds we so could get a couple pictures. When I stood up there was a huge crowd that had formed :O No picture of the crowd though. My camera man wasn't very good. Hit the jump for more:

Great Firewall of China
I didn't know that China blocked blogger before I set out on my trip. I just figured out how to access it today though. But, I forgot my Pro Duo Card adapter in the States. I'll have to find a cable or an adapter before I can post any pictures. Hopefully that will be tomorrow....
